About Pelangi School

Pelangi School is a private, not-for-profit school founded in 2006 by parents seeking an alternative educational experience for their children in Ubud, Bali. From just a handful of children attending school all those years ago, our school community now includes 200 students representing almost thirty different nationalities.

Our mission

Pelangi School’s mission is to provide a high quality, holistic education, delivered in English and Bahasa Indonesia, for children from Ubud and surrounding areas.  Through education, we are dedicated to inspiring children to become responsible, self-motivated, creative, environmentally and socially conscientious, well rounded, happy individuals.

Our vision

Our vision is that children leave our school with:

• A set of values – honesty, integrity and good judgement.
• A complement of skills – linguistic, mathematical, scientific, artistic, physical and social.
• An enquiring and discriminating mind and a desire for knowledge.
• Strong self-esteem and high personal expectations.
